Knit a Rabbit

Introduction

A pair of lovely rabbits have been visiting our compound recently. They feed on some plants and scurry away when our dogs come barking towards them. They reminded me of my old hobby...knitting....especially cuddly toys! 

Very long ago, when I was in college in Lahore, I found a tattered,old magazine in which was a pattern to knit a rabbit. Since the magazine was torn and oily I copied the pattern in my own handwriting. I made quite a number of the lovely rabbits and gave them to be sold in a charity fair.

Later I used to make the cuddly toy for my children and their cousins who loved it.

This year I found my old pattern and want to revive my hobby.....you can also try it!!!!

During the 2020 Corona Pandemic lockdown there has been more time to do other things rather than the normal chores. So I knitted this cuddly bunny with brown and beige colours. I presented it to my nephew's new born baby and everyone just loved it. You can try it too!
